Tim Bishop, Regional Manager of SA and VIC for BMD said the project builds on BMD’s experience in the South Australia market together with a bolstering capability within the water and wastewater sector.
“This project brings opportunity in the strength of our people who have significant experience working in the water/ wastewater sector and the Mount Barker region. This will lead to close engagement with the community and local stakeholders, as well as innovative and optimised work solutions in its delivery by assessing all risks and opportunities and providing constructible approaches to the site’s geology, various locations and geotechnical conditions."
“With a robust reputation for successful infrastructure delivery, BMD lives by a relationship-based and collaborative approach to engage people, partners and the community, and leaving a lasting skills legacy. This project will bring opportunities for supplier and subcontractor businesses within the local market to engage with and build capacity in working with BMD and our design partner, SMEC,” Mr. Bishop said.
The project commenced October 2023 and upon completion will service Council’s future development growth in the area, providing value driven outcomes for end users.
