BMD Group’s JMac proud to deliver Legacy House
As strong supporters of the important work Legacy does for our veteran community, the BMD Group is further supporting the build of Legacy House through a $600,000 commitment.
The sod has just been turned on the new Legacy House building, which will be co-located with existing veterans’ services within the Greenslopes Hospital Precinct, including the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation and Keith Payne Unit, and will offer not only comprehensive support and care, but a welcoming, homely environment too.
As an integrated group of companies, BMD’s unique approach combined with our experience delivers exceptional outcomes for our partners. During the early contractor involvement (ECI) phase of Legacy House, JMac identified potential cost-savings by working closely with the designers and leveraging relationships with long-term suppliers and subcontractors early in the project.
BMD Group Executive Director - People and Process Dare Power said BMD sees its strengths in the quality of people and genuine relationships with clients, partners, and communities.
“At BMD, we believe in making an enduring difference in the communities in which we operate and we’re proud to have a role in building on our trusted partnership with Legacy Brisbane as we construct the new Legacy House,” he said.
“It will support thousands of families in need to ensure that no one is disadvantaged due to their veteran family member’s service."
“A project like this transforms lives and we look forward to building a lasting legacy in Queensland.”
Legacy Brisbane CEO Brendan Cox said, “Leadership is about more than just guiding a company to success, it’s about using that success to uplift others.
“We are very grateful to Scott Power and BMD for exemplifying this principle through their exceptional support of Legacy House, empowering us to create lasting change in the lives of our Legacy families.”
At BMD, having a positive impact on the communities in which we operate is how we do business. Learn more about Legacy Brisbane here.
