Developed by Global Power Generation, the Naturgy Energy Group’s subsidiary dedicated to the development and operation of international power generation, the 96MW windfarm will comprise of 23 turbines and is located in the Moyne Shire, 230 kilometres west of Melbourne and 29 kilometres north of Port Fairy.
Following successful delivery of the Crookwell II Windfarm in New South Wales, BMD has again joined forces with Consolidated Power Projects who will deliver the project’s electrical scope.
The contract is being delivered under a BoP contract and involves the design and construction of access tracks, crane pads, site cabling, a 33kV substation, and construction of the wind turbine foundations.
With completion expected in late 2021, the award of the project highlights BMD’s commitment to delivering renewable energy projects with a local presence and bolsters our reputation for collaborating with specialist subcontractors and partners within the renewables sector.
