Outcomes
The outcomes of work included providing charging facilities and large container structures for new-age electric buses in four different locations across Brisbane and the associated civil (pavements and parking facilitates) needed to accommodate these larger buses.
A key outcome for the project team was delivering works while bus services remained active. This required extensive program planning and coordination with the client and Translink to ensure any changes were communicated to commuters, such as changes
to bus pick-up locations.
Each project site was located within an urban environment, with little to no room for onsite material storage or equipment laydown.
The team ensured all material was directly transported to tip sites and deliveries were well planned, so the right materials were delivered to site at the right time.
