Outcomes

The project team was committed to HSEQ excellence with a number of initiatives established across the project. Prior to commencing onsite, a desktop study was undertaken, a certified sediment and erosion control plan was obtained, and a number of controls were implemented including silt traps and fencing, bunding, and rock checks. Regular meetings with the client and designer were also undertaken throughout the project to ensure variable site conditions were communicated and managed effectively, and quick solutions, including opening alternative work fronts, could be determined without delay to program. Ultimately, the project was delivered on time, within budget, and with 33,689 hours worked with no recordable injuries.
