$150,000 committed for COVID-19 Recovery Community Assistance Program
BMD is committed to supporting the communities in which we operate. We work in partnership with Indigenous and non-Indigenous organisations who embody our values to achieve long lasting benefits in areas including sports and recreation, arts and culture, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, health and wellbeing, environment, education and community initiatives.
Each year BMD commits up to $1 million of sponsorship and financial support to community partnerships and organisations in the vicinity of our regional offices and operational projects.
We recognise that the COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted many not-for-profit and grassroots organisations across Australia. The BMD COVID-19 Recovery Community Assistance Program is committing $150,000 to deliver financial assistance to support organisations by providing one-off sponsorships, donations and in kind-support that deliver benefits within the communities in which BMD operates. We are locals, giving locally.
Applications are now open and close at 5:00pm AEST on 27 November 2020.
